My watercolors are done on Arches 140lb cold press watercolor paper with transparent watercolor, unless otherwise noted. Occasionally I add ink or a touch of gouache.
Some of my paintings are done in the studio using multiple layers of thinned watercolor glazes. Others are done in the field (Plein Air) and are quick studies in which I attempt to capture the light and mood of the scene. As you can see, my style changes quite a bit between these to forms of working in this media.
All watercolors come with a single mat.
